I solved this by adding a style setting in functions/Debug-functions: *FvwmIdent: Colorset $[cs-panel-active] *FvwmIdent: MinimalLayer 6 Did you still get this issue if you comment out the first of those 2 lines? You can try to run fvwm-crystal.generate-menu opera If opera did provide a valid desktop file with an associated icon, it will found it and install the icons for fvwm-crystal. You may need to read the INSTALL file and follow the chapter on fvwm-crystal.generate-menu before to run it.
