If you run fvwm-crystal.apps, does it output something? If you have ~/.fvwm/Applications, move it away and restart Crystal, does menu show? Which menu disappeared, panel, menu from Windows keys or both? Have you recently upgraded Python?
I just checked that Python 2.4 was installed on June 17, and Python 2.5yesterday, but /usr/bin/python stills points to version 2.4. -- Olivier Lecarme
