I followed your instruction to download the font, put in ~/.fonts and run the fc-cache -fv, and I can see "Bitstream Cyberbit:style=Roman" by using fc-list, then I changed the Default recipe,I changed all the Veranda to Cyberbit, but without lucky, I still could not see Chinese character in IconMan...
