I would like to be able to replace a panel with a manually written one (At least for now) instead of letting PipeRead generate it. The reason for this is so that I can trim out some apps from the menu and move others to the top of the menu for a custom Recipe.
Where can I find a concise example or blunt instructions about manually creating a panel? The FVWM-crystal panel with the applications I have installed. That is the one I would like to replace and it is to the right the music panel, which is to the right of the 'diamond menu'. PipeRead looks exciting and very useful, but is a bit more than I am prepared to deal with at the moment.
