Yes, and laser also stands for something and has become so familiar that almost nobody writes it LASER (or knows what the letters stand for). So what? I really wonder why this comes up only now. The name has been "fvwm" for at least five years, and nobody complained. Note that I mostly eliminated the occurences of "FVWM" and "Fvwm" that have been re-introduced destipte the convention. From fvwm/fvwm.1.in: The name fvwm is written in lower case throughout this man page. Fvwm is written without a version number, i.e. fvwm, not fvwm2.
