I too have experienced some problem im not sure its the same... it is with the GIMP, I can reproduce it by: 1) starting fvwm (cvs version last updated Dec 16 2002) with no rc file 2) open FvwmConsole and start FvwmPager 3) start the gimp (close all of its dialog windows) 4) make sure the gimp window is the last to have focus then go to the pager and change to a different page. 5) restart fvwm with the root menu. after fvwm restarts, the gimp dissapears (no longer listed by ps aux) and I get this message: Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) serial 12833 error_code 3 request_code 15 minor_code 0 I thought this was a gimp/gtk bug, but it seems related to this one. can any one reproduce this? gtk-config --version 1.2.10 gimp-config --version 1.2.3 fvwm-config --version 2.5.6 XFree86 Version 4.2.99.2 Linux 2.4.20 thanks, sa -- Visit the official FVWM web page at <URL:http://www.fvwm.org/>.
