Which applications? I know I've looked into this in the past, as has
Dominik Vogt. As far as I can tell this isn't FVWM, it's the application.
Note that we have CoerceEnterNotifyOnCurrentWindow() which should ensure
what you're describing doesn't happen -- although its use depends upon what
you're meaning when switching "workspaces" (desks versus pages, for
instance.)
