Hi Chris :)

The easiest way to get Fvwm2 to run from [g|k|w|x]dm is to create a
~/.xsession file as described by Thomas. Some distros need that file to
be called ~/.Xsession instead so it might not work with ~/.xsession. If
you want to start it by using startx then rename that file to
~/.xinitrc.

Also, if you are looking for a good configuration of Fvwm2 you might
want to check out Fvwm-Crystal at http://fvwm-crystal.berlios.de/  .
I find it to be _very_ pleasing to the eye and the author is very
helpful. You'd need to install at least fvwm-2.5.13 (the latest is
2.5.14).
