You must be running Breezy then. I know that "Dapper" (the 'unstable'
version of Ubuntu) has FVWM 2.5.14. If you grabbed the source and built
it on Breezy you wouldn't have to wait until Dapper is released.
OTOH, it's not hard to build FVWM from source (installs to /usr/local)
so you could remove the packaged version, build and install the
up-to-date fvwm-2.5.14 tarball all while keeping your current ~/.fvwm
untouched.
Anyway, that's what I would do on my own system, if this is your work
box then you're probably out of luck.
