You can also use the "standard" notation. ie.
*FvwmTabs: buttonFont "-*-helvetica-bold-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"

I'm not at all familiar with i18n. I'm keen to find a HOWTO that will
allow me to test your problem, but at the same time I don't
want to convert my whole system to Russian ... cos I don't understand
a word of it. :)

I've just committed an updated version of FvwmTabs to CVS that should
allow the height to be determined by the size of the font & mini-icon
(if used).

With current CVS, try creating a tabber with:

NewTabber --geometry=+0+0 uniqueId
