Not true for the latest versions. Recently the old config files have been deprecated in favour of a registry and winecfg application. The winecfg program has a "Graphics" tab with an "allow the window manager to control the windows" tickbox, which I imagine does the same thing. Nick -- Don't let THEM immanentize the Eschaton!
