Hello
I'm not interested in making the interface look like OSX/Aqua... I'm trying to make the menu bar "stick" to the top of the screen versus the top of the active document window.
Unfortunately I don't think such a behaviour is possible without some desktop manager. The menubar in Firefox and so on is *part* of the application window, and as far as I know, the window manager has no control on it. If you saw such a functionnality already, then it means the application has been developped with a specific toolkit allowing the desktop manager to manage (display) the menu bar. I did not know KDE was supporting this by the way. Maybe I should give a try. :-) Though I am not a Mac user, I miss this too. :-/ It is definitely a good IHM invention. Regards, -- Julien Guertault
