Hi Are you using Nokia IP Clustering protocol for clustering?. If you use this protocol in "forwarding mode" than you do not have to worry about the MAC address. Its issue when you use the multicast mode for Clustering when switches give problem. Go through Nokia Clustering_config guide. The config is very simple. You do not have to define any routes. In forwarding mode ,the master decides which FW will process the packet. cheers

Is there any other latest version I should run on IP380 meanwhile giving me stability? There is only limited version of IPSO can run on IP380. (No IPSO3.6, 3.7, 3.8...) Is there anything I need to be aware on switching side? These 2 FWs will connect to 2 separated 2950. Do I need to define static arp in switch for the virtual MAC? I just wonder how the switch can understand while the FW is load balancing. Do I also need to define default route on each FW to acheive load balancing/redundency? Any input is appreciated. Many thanks. Wayne __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
