Many thanks for the answers . If at all possibilities i have to reinstall
the gateway to the current hardware (i looked at sysconfig and it seems
that adding new module installation is ok
but seems that we are not able to deselect management module or gateway
module). So if reinstallion is needed instead of installing R70 again
installaing the most current version (and maybe not SPLAT, maybe GAIA)
will be better ? Though maybe at that choice i have to do all the
configuration again by hand , as i remember using some versions
upgrade_export configs cant be used with the newer ones.
It's definitely recommended to install a fresh OS for your new installation, on a similar spare hardware if it is possible.

The network configuration can be taken from the previous secureplatform (/etc/sysconfig/netconf.C). Some other configuration files may also be restored from /etc and /etc/sysconfig mostly.

Regarding Gaia, it means you have to upgrade to r75 release your smartcenter. It brings CLI capabilities for OS configuration, but you should definitely start with migrating from standalone to distributed, then from actual release to Gaia-able one.
(licenses in r75 can also be a real pain).

best regards.
