As I've written before, I've tried blocking Yahoo Messenger as described in http://www.phoneboy.com/fw1/faq/0367.html. After compiling the ruleset and bouncing the FW, certain web sites were inaccessable; the error being "FW-1 at <my_machine>: Access denied." What's worse is it's not logged. I've tried setting the URI to Alert and Log, and all my rules are set to log Long. No matter. No log. Can anyone reproduce this? Is anyone out there successfully blocking Yahoo Messenger? My system: FW-1 ver 4.0 sp4.
