What does netstat or /etc/services show for telnet on the client system? You
have the name telnetproxy, why is it named this way( what proxy system is
running)? Can a plain old system(Windows, Linux, etc) telnet to the Solaris
system without specifying a port? Are you on a different subnet when you try
this?
