Well my Checkpoint support contract is up, and it's time to renew.  In the
past we've had gold, but frankly, it's been clear that we really need
24x7 support.  We do most of our maintenance during off hours and that
seems to be when 75% of our problems happen.

I'm kinda curious if people feel that Platinum is worth the added cost
over Gold Plus.  The two differences seem to be 30 min vs. 4 hours for the
ticket to be assigned an agent and platinum gives you a "technical account
cordinator".  Just what does this TAC do?  Or is he/she just another
person I can bitch at when things go wrong?

If you have any suggestions for 3rd party support I'm interested to hear
that as well.  Please do not start tangents about how Checkpoint support
sucks.  We've seen that thread enough times lately thank you very much.
