Although the firewall is not a proxy server, I am in a situation where
depending on which network the user wants to connect to, they point to
an existing firewall or a proxy server. I have changes some of the prop
settings such as prompt_for_destination to true. Set the http proxy in
fw1-4.1 as the next proxy and added it to the proxy server list. We are
converting from Sidewinder to Checkpoint, and currently we have the
capability to do this on the other firewall packages.

This is a large class B network that is subnetted into class C
networks. I have Solaris 2.6 with the latest patches as the OS and
GateD installed to handle the variable length subnet masks and RIP2.

The scenario is such as this:
The gateway cannot change so they are currently able to just point their
http browser to another firewall or proxy.
While using this scenario and the configuration I mentioned previously,
I still cannot get a connection through the http server when it is
clearly hitting the internal interface of the firewall. I have the
default route set to the internal interface of the external router
connecting used for connection to the internet.

Anyone got any helpful tips? I am really under the gun and need some
quick answers. All will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
