I also use Esafe and havn't noticed this issue lately.

What I can say, is that in the past the automates Esafe upgrade process,
which occurs every so often, has been known to do similar things.

In one such case, there was a bug in their Word documents macro checking
function which would automatically delete all doc files on scan. The problem
was that the scan for macroes was going well, but when it came back to
having to re-attach the file to the email, the software would be unable to
do so.

It took multiple debugs and a lot of roundabout issues before they came out
with a fix.

One of my main gripes with this software, altho it does usually do what it's
supposed to, is that it seems to me at times that the support doesn't know
what is going on with their own software.

I would escelate this issue to the Aladin support people.

Web site is www.esafe.com.
