Hi Randall ,

View the link sent by Peter Dickson on the same subjet.  (  http://www.checkpoint.com/products/firewall-1/pbrief.html  )
According to this link , linux RedHat 6.1 under ???? hardware seem to have better throughput .
I've send an email to checkpoint advocate to know the specifications of their test platform (gigabit ethernet switches and Nics).
This linux box had gigabit interfaces.

Cheers,

Daniel
