Dear all,
I need to enhance security of ftp transfer from 2 servers (unix --> unix or
unix --> NT).
A FW1 is in between the 2 servers
server A -------------- FW1 ------------------- server B
I can open ftp between the 2 servers and transfer in passive mode.
But the goal is to control who transfer what: I do not want an unauthorized
user to use the FTP command to transfer unauthorized data from the source
server.
A) What is the best to do to limit use of ftp, can the FTP ressource help me
???
B) What is the best to encrypt end-to-end (apart using SSH between server A
and B) ???
Please feel free to suggest other architecture.
