I ve been trying FW-1 permit Napster protocol from my internal network..Here
is how I see this problem:
1.Napster Client registering at some host with napster.com as part of its
name.In order to solve this , I think I would need to define an URI to
*napster.com and permit outbound connections to port 8888.
Or since napster.com is 64.124.41.* , I could skip URI part and define a
permit outbound conection to napster network on port 8888.
2.Since "downloading a song from Napster" is basically a PUT operation by
the remote host holding the requested song , Should I just open an Inbound
permission to all my internal network on port 6699 (which is default port)?
Any comments?
