Hy,

For me it would be really nice to get this detailled roadmap even with
dated milestones. I know, that this is really hard to forecast, but it
would be a great help, if I could even know, if 1.0 could come in the
first quarter of 2007 or second or whenever.

A forecast would be nice, even if it's revised later on.

But it's hard to fill...
Speaking of the locale team, there are only one peoples who contribute
until now for the classes. ( no andre, I didn't forgot you;-) )
Date, Locale(I18N), Translate, Calendar, Measure and Currency.

Sometimes I don't know what to code first ;-)

I'm looking for a good and future-proof framework for PHP. Because I
love PHP and would really like to develop further on in PHP, but I
have to admit, that I have been fixed to frameworks by the effort and
effectiveness of Ruby On Rails (especially it's usage of the MVC).

The framework is stable and has no big problems. You can look in the issue tracker to verify this.
In background (SVN) there were already much new additions made.
So 0.2 in my opinion will be released the next 3 weeks.

So in my opinion a Framework pushed by Zend would be that one with the
greatest perspectives for the future. Because "the" big player
concerning PHP is concerned in its development. So I would really like
to build my new project with Zend Framework. But when I look to the
success of development (first presentation in the end of 2005, now
version 0.1.5), I really am in doubt, that it will

Our head has gone away, due to medical issues...
so things got a little bit stuck .
In background all were working hard.

1. develop fast enough to be competitive
2. develop fast enough to be a stable framework for my actual project

It will be competitive and stable.
And no one but you could say if this is also real for your projects.

At the moment I am still looking for the answer, if Zend Framework is
still stable enough to be the basis of my new project. Or is it better
to take another Framework, if I have to decide for a framework just
now?

I'm actualy using the framework for realising a huge webapplication which we have to port from php4 to php5.
(about 3Mio codelines)

For now we've found no problems.

Greetings
Thomas
