I second that.
Having a PEAR channel is just another way to get the Zend Framework not
the only one.
My company built a custom framework above the ZF and we plan do
distribute it through a PEAR channel for simplicity. Adding the ZF as a
requirement instead of having to pack it with our package would really
ease our work.
