Yeah I think that's a given re: incurring performance vs. ease. That's why I
think ZF MVC is still valuable and ground-breaking, it makes programmers
start thinking about drying up code and the added benefits of certain design
patterns. I guess this is what you were trying to get at all along Eric -
hehe. I like the fact that I have the ability to customise my own pattern.
There are certain things I absolutely hated in my old design methods ie.
layouts, templates, and the organisation of site logic. These are things
that ZF has forced me to rethink.

So I get it now...I guess. Heh.
