Zend_Service_Twitter comes to mind... :)
FWIW, we've tried both and ultimately used the RSS service instead for
some twitter interaction... it depends on *how* you want to integrate
with twitter. We just want to display the latest posts inside our app,
and for that RSS is better.
If you want to *post* to twitter or interact in some other way that
requires a login, then Zend_Service_Twitter is the way forward.
