I know what you mean. The rich text that comes with dojo just isn't up to scratch. I chose Tiny MCE just beacuse I'm familiar with it. But the principle should be the same for any editor.
Maybe we should start lobbying to get one included in the library by default. Its pretty much a staple for any site nowadays.
