I did a similar test. Using memory_get_usage() the difference I got was
1244876, using memory_get_usage(true) the difference was 1835008. Don't know
what's making the difference. Maybe there's some ZF components you're not
already using that I am so your memory usage goes up more with require_once
calls? Maybe try the test again?
