Good to see you on here jumping in to contribute. Generally folks start working on something they think may be interesting to others or scratches their own itch (usually gets the best results). Start with getting a POC out on github (or your favorite source hosting provider), then write up a proposal and get it posted to the wiki. Let folks know here and on IRC. You might even blog and/or tweet it out. By the time you get that far, I'll have to start asking you for pointers :) I assume you already have a CLA on file...if not, you'll want to do that before you can submit a proposal. Oh, one more thing. I believe it will need to be a ZF2 component and it may also need to be back-ported to 1.x as well but I'm not 100% sure about the latter.
