Charlie, A Kubuntu user would be more than tolerated. I don't have much experience with Kubuntu, and as such would be completely lost answering anyone's questions about it. We need a strong Kubuntu presence. And we're all on the lunatic fringe :-) that's the point of attacking bug #1, making it so that we're no longer the lunatic fringe, so that we become the lunatic mainstream! Book deal? Well congratulations, Vern! What book is this? Oh, yes, where are my manners? Hi! My name is Simon Ruiz and, if the stars align well, I'll be moving up to Fort Wayne soon. I have been working as the Technology Assistant at Bloomington High School North, where I've been in charge of nine 1:1 classrooms outfitted with Ubuntu workstations. I've only been involved with Linux for a little over a year, but I've found myself pulled into it like there's some sort of undertow. I've become involved in various communities, some geographically related, most Ubuntu centered, a few Education focused. I am also, as Vern so generously announced for me, working on forming up an Ubuntu Local Community Team here in Indiana. We're a newborn team, only a week or so old, but we're getting a lot of good people joining up, and we need a lot more. All flavors of the Ubuntu rainbow are welcome, so please consider joining us!
