Hello guys cool meeting last night got a couple ubuntu 8.04 questions for ya.
finaly got a linux operating system to install on my IBM R30 laptop using
ubuntu 8.04 ALT install 2 problems first the screen resolution is small 800x???
any ideas how to make it larger no bigger opttions are in the settings?
also my motorola pcmcia wn825g it looks like it found the device drivers for it
and its lights came on but when I got to try the wireless networks it acts as
if there is no signal at all
should I try the ndis wrapper
please keep in mind I am a bone head on computers about all I can do in
terminal is check how much memory I have any way I am glad to finaly have linux
on this machine so if they never work right its not the end of the world at
least I can use the box online without virus worries
