Wow the outreach program has gotten a ton of Re so far.
As for advertising first off I would say we need some kinda website with a very
simple address like "freeppcfix" "pcfix4free"
"freepcdoctor" somthing simple and send people to that first with all the info
they need on the site.
we can get ads on craigslist
anyone who has a minivan has a lot of surface area to advertise on.
Then of course theres flyers and if we had the chance to put a sign in front of
places like circuit city and best buy well there are the folks that need our
goodies. Maybe somthing simple like a guy holding a sign by the road evan or
park a van in the parking lot while eating close by.
Now if we could somehow get an ad on the bear or on TV that would be ideal
but at what price.
botom line if we start telling these guys linux they just wont get it. We need
to drive the message home first and them give them the name of it.
Linux confused the hell out of me at first and at time still does if I have to
do comand line entry I am done so its gotta be simple and in simple words.
Anyways more advertising ideas to follow as I get time.
