Oh, cool. I hadn't noticed that; yeah that irritated me before when I
felt like getting rid of the stuff I didn't use; I ended up just
removing them from my menu instead, instead.

I was using it so I wouldn't have a huge bunch of Nautilus windows
open. I like that I can move files around by dragging and dropping
them onto the right tab or hovering on the tab and dropping it in a
subfolder in that tab (though I wish there was a way of keeping it
from automatically switching to the folder you just moved stuff to;
the way I was using it, I wanted to stay looking at the folder I was
moving FROM...).

It's just a matter of adding a PPA repository to your sources list and
running a normal upgrade.
