I've had a lot of interviews lately for developer and programming positions,
almost all used M$ tools, c#, VB, SQL, ASP.net, etc.

Except for one particualry large organization who uses Linux Apache MySQL
PHP (LAMP).

The company told me that they are switching everything over to ASP.net, IIS,
and Visual Studio. When I asked them why they said:

"We can't find people with LAMP experience"

I'm glad I was only talking to them on the phone at this point otherwise I
would have made a strange face.

If only I could convince them to keep the FOSS Software... They may already
be dead set... they may have already purchased licenses... I can't imagine a
good reason to waste time porting over all their servers and in-house code
becasue they cant find LAMP people? who knows?

Either way Indiana seems overly saturated with M$. Where's the FOSS jobs?
