Hi Travis,

To be honest, I don't know that we need to worry about transferring the
list archives - this list is archived at gmane.org. I'm sure we could
extract the email addresses and load them into a new server. While it's a
mailman list, unfortunately the actual command line interface is not
available IIRC, so I'm not sure of exactly what options we might have. I
suppose the worst case would be to set up the new list and then send out a
few emails to the old list nagging people to sign up on the new list.

The domain doesn't have to live at GoDaddy at all... it's unlocked and
ready to transfer to any place, really. The reason I mentioned GoDaddy is
that it is a bit easier to just hand over ownership internally there.
However, I'm not that thrilled with them at the moment, so I'd be just as
happy to move it directly off of there.

For everyone else on the list, either make a counter offer or suggestion if
you want...

Cheers,

Vern
