Do the regular leader board entries go thru differing qualifying
tests for admission?

Well, I have "known" about Perl since 1996 -- prolly wrote a
hundred programs - plus I teach Perl here at Florida Community
College at Jacksonville, and I founded the Jax.PM group, and I do
have a CPAN ID "/S/SN/SNEEX" - plus I've been in computers off and
on for over 22 years.

By the simple definition(s) above I am not a Perl beginner;
however, if my writing style is Baby-Perl (as compared to say
Chipmunk or Yanick) then yes - I am a beginner. Either way doesn't
matter as I was in dead last place - even compared to the other
Beginner's :) (All of them were very good.)

Feel free to move my entries to semi-pro? pro? area, but
regardless, I feel I am neither of those.

.... maybe I am extremely dense ... :)
