I sent this before but it seems to have gotten misplaced... let me try again:
The golf discussions thus far have been fairly email-well-behaved, in that they've mostly stayed confined to a thread or two associated with the particular 'tournament'. As such, it is close-to-trivial to ignore the golf discussions -- a few keystrokes with almost any mail client to kill the associated threads and ..poof.. they're gone. I don't see what the big deal is. The question of whether golf is 'fun' or not strikes me as, at best, a subtle one and one that isn't well served by carving up the readership into little 'special interest lists'. I find the golf tournaments fun, and much of the discussion of tricks and traps really enlightening [and indeed, there was a *LOT* of golf-gab on this list well before the tournaments started!]... but the discussions often go beyond my interest, so I'll read a bunch of posts in the thread and then kill it. It wouldn't occur to me to try to impose my preferences in this sort thing on others by suggesting that they 'get it out of MY way because *I* don't want to see it' when it is so easy for me to tune what I see to my own liking... /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <--
