I mentioned in an earlier post that I look at piles of ibooks very  
frequently. 99% of the BGA video problems are in the 500mhz models.  
Just twisting the cases usually brings the video back.
The video problems have nothing to due with the maker of the chip.  
It's the mounting of the chip itself that's usually at fault.
