Worst for reliability, yes. But the absolute worst machine ever was  
the Performa 6200 series. I owned one, and everything you hear and  
read is true. I'm just glad I didn't pay for it :)

I never noticed the video chip getting too hot when they start to  
fail. But they don't generally fail, instead they detach themselves  
from the PCB due to a bad run through the wave solder machine.

My 800mhz iBook G3 gets a little hot and the fan will kick on  
occasionally, but hasn't given me any trouble whatsoever.

Probably nothing to worry about, as long as you aren't running it on
