Low density PC66 or PC100, 256 MB max per stick, for a maximum of 512
MB.

One stick may be high profile, but the second stick must be low profile.

(PC133 in these capacities are often high density, and these will be
read as one-half capacity).

(If you get your RAM from a reputable dealer, and it is marked G3,
then it is most likely correct in every respect. DMS' RAM is often
identified this way).

Same concept.

The processor card comes out and the SDRAM is installed in the top
and the bottom.

You access the latches which retain the keyboard from the battery and
CD-ROM accessory holes after removing them. The latches are quite
delicate.

Alas, 300 MHz WS IIs are prone to overheating, and some will not work
with 512 MB as the power supply board cannot supply enough power. In
this case, limit to 384 MB.

Other WS II models and all WS Is did not have this problem.
