The processor card comes out and the SDRAM is installed in the top and the bottom. You access the latches which retain the keyboard from the battery and CD-ROM accessory holes after removing them. The latches are quite delicate. Alas, 300 MHz WS IIs are prone to overheating, and some will not work with 512 MB as the power supply board cannot supply enough power. In this case, limit to 384 MB.
