I have a problem getting a modem card running on 3.9 xpostfacto Lombard - is there a 1.1 driver that will work - how is it installed?

I have two PDQs which were running various versions of Panther X.3.4 through X.3.9 from 2004 to 2006 with following USB peripherals connected via PCMCIA card: - EPSON SC800 printer connected via USB to parallel converter cable (using GIMP drivers) - Epson 1660 Scanner - Canon iP3000 printer - Canon A80 camera - SanDisk and Imation USB flash drives - 4-port USB hubs - 20 GB HDDs installed in generic USB external drive cases - a USB multicard converter for various flash memory cards - a USB mouse - a USB keyboard for PCs whose packaging declared "not compatible with Macintosh" I believe some USB-2 cards require proprietary drivers to work at full speed, but if a USB card is OHCI compliant it should provide a USB 1.1 connection with no additional software installation. ..AD --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
