Well, I'm no electronics engineer, but what does RAM have to do
with PRAM? As I understand things, PRAM provides a small power
source to maintain clock time and certain "parameter" settings.
Thus "parameter RAM" which is a separate thing from the volatile
RAM that is used by applications.
