I have a PCMCIA card USB 1. and another USB 2. the first is more 
reliable, the latter have some "mechanical" problem of connection and 
some times freeze wally, but in my opinion if you have large file to 
transfer USB 1. is unberable, while you can use external drive for 
burning cd's, but is slow.
