my pismo does TombRaider Games OK. It has an AGP Rage128 grafx card
with 8MB VRAM stock.
the Wallstreet has a RAGE64 and 4MB. Some games do have accellerated
hardware grafx for the 64 if they are the right time enough. Check the
docs for your games.

If you are really into this you may need both... If you have a desktop
g3 though you can put a 128 in the pci slot and also you have the 64
built in. I had that going too for some older games did not know the
128...

most older games for System7 or later play on os9. But with the
TombRaider series because of the OPENGL libraries version they were
built with, I have dual boot OS9.1 and
9.2 ... does that make sense ?

i know i could dull boot 9.2 and 10 on my ibook but i dont want to
have to reformat my hard drive so i need to know the ups and downs and
witch 1 would be better

no actually you can install 9 and X on the same partition. It can get
a little messy though.
being careful not to muck up the X stuff. When I do partion I like 3
so I can put shared data on one, or else put an alias to the "/Users/
Shared" folder of X on the os9 desktop...

If you care about your stuff you should have a backup drive... or two.

I respect that philosophy.

A few really old games want less than 256 colors and for that you need
a pre-g3 BTW.
