Some mail services may permit giant attachments,,, but that's only half the battle. EVERY relay inbetween and the recievers must also permit them! Sending large items is just not appropriate for emails. It would be better to use your own afp or ftp file sharing, p2p, or a third party cache, such as dropbox, savefile, etc. I share quite a bit via afp. You just turn on regular file sharing, and forward port 548 from your router to your Mac. The remote user can then connect directly to you, and grab the file. - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
