Thanks to all...for the great directions.
We haven't had separate iTunes user accounts. All her music and my music are
in one library and our individual iPods now sync to our respective
playlists.

So I will...

   1. create a library on the stick name it Kristina's and move my albums
one by one from the current shared library?
   2. when I sync my iPod I will tell iTunes to look on my stick?

 thanks again,
Kristina

iTunes 8.1.1
