Dear Listers, Since my second Lombard has arrived (fortunately, just needing a power adapter), I tested my EVT machine by throwing a charged, known-good battery in it, and it booted right up. So, my question is, should I be looking at the sound card/DC input, or should I be looking at the battery charge card underneath the trackpad? I'm thinking the sound/DC input card is the culprit, even though the 'bong' is okay. Any suggestions?
