Are you sure you don't have a major voltage problem? I agree the available adapters are of dubious quality, but everything all at once is a warning sign to moi and I've been doing electrical trouble shooting(making money) for30+ years. I'm keeping my yo-yo in storage for safe keeping for now, Hope this can help you sort out your adapter issues, Jim M.
