I have one of their car adapters and couldn't agree more. However, I've had very poor communications with them as to other adapters to the point of where I gave up for the moment.
Using G3s at the moment which is the different tip from your G4. Anyone know Kensingson to offer an AC adapter for the G3s? If so, I'll be glad to look into it. A link to it would be great if it's out there. There adapters out there for the tips but, as I understand it, only one for going from the G3 tip to a G4 with nothing for coming the other way.
