If you mean you have a "Wallstreet" Apple PowerBook G3 series computer,
then the answer is "it depends."

It depends on what you mean by "Airport." It also depends on what you
mean
by "use Safari."

The Airport software exists in both OS 9 and OS X versions. However,
both
are of use only if you have a PCMCIA (Cardbus) card that is "recognized"
as an Airport card by the software. I have such a card in my "PDQ"
which is
recognized under OS 9 but not under OS X. I have a separate card for the
machine which is recognized under OS X, but not under OS 9. However,
I have
not gone beyond OS 10.2.8 with the machine, and thus have not used
XPostFacto
to try for better compatibility.

This brings up the "use Safari" question. The version that is
compatible with
OS 10.2.8 is a bit "long in the tooth" and does not function well
with a lot
of websites, particularly those with a lot of Java or Flash junk.
However, it
can be "used."
